I am writing to you regarding your article " The Giants are in Danger", which мейд a great impression on me. The problem of disappearing of rare animals, African elephants in particular, is quite touching for me, that is why I would like to express my opinion and share my ideas with you.
First of all, African elephants are the largest animals on our planet, which is really surprising by itself. Besides, it takes for females very long  to bear their babies. So, these animals need protecting in a special way.
Second of all, elephants are great helpers for people in their work. No other animal could do the hard work that only elephants could.
Unfortunately, people don't understand the importance of saving the animals like that. Your article says that their habitat is being destroyed by human activity. I completely agree with you, it is people, who makes elephants leave their home and escape. Elephants have been hunted for their tusks of which jewelry and souvenirs are мейд. Regret to say, they die for their own beauty!
I think, all the people who are indifferent should stop this. So, what could we do about this problem? In my opinion, it is possible to create a comfortable habitat for African giants, perhaps even much better than their natural conditions. To succeed in it we should to open a special fund, to collect money. And it would be a good idea to sell T-shirts or badges with elephants on them, so that we could use money for the purpose. 
In addition, it is necessary to reinforce the punishment for those who hunts elephants for the sake of tusks. Something must be done after all!
Finally, I want you to know that I will always support your newspaper as for the articles about animals in danger.
