Australia is the smallest continet in the world. There are a lot of interesting things there.  One of them is koala, which lives only in Australia and some islands near it. Koalas look like teddy bears, and they are relatives of the kangooro - symbol of Australia, because koala mothers have small pockets for there babies. Koalas have large ears, big dark eyes and black nose, and a gray fur. Koalas like to sleep: they can sleep for 18 hours a day.

Koalas dont dirnk food, because they get most of their water from eucalyprus leaves, which they eat.

Koalas are endangered animals, Many hunters kill them to get their fur. People also have cut down forests - homes of koalas. Now, they are trying to save them.
