Помогите пожалуйста с 36 упражнением. Очень нужно. Нигде не отыскал.

Lion asked what was going on and wondered who there was.
Mouse asked the lion if it (he) saw it(her).
Lion asked who it was. 
Mouse said that it(she) was its (his) friend and wondered if it(she) could help it(him).
Lion agreed and wanted to knowi how it (she) would do it. 
Mouse asked the lion not to worry and explained that it(she) could gnaw the net 
Lion wanted to know why it(she) wanted to help it(him) and wondered if it (she) was afraid of it(him).
Mouse denied and  added that it (she) was just its(his) friend. 

В британских сказках животные употребляются с местоимениями he/she,но по грамматическому правилу все животные это it-по сему два варианта написано.

Lion asked what was going on and who was there
Mouse asked him if he saw her
Lion asked who was she
Mouse said that she was lion's friend. And asked if she could help him
Lion agreed and asked how she would do it
Mouse told him not to be worried and said that she could gnaw the net
Lion asked her why she wanted to help him and if she was afraid of her
Mouse disagreed and said that she was just his friend.
