Dear Tanya,
How are you? I am good. I hope you are doing well. I would like to suggest you a fantastic destination that I recently discovered from my trip for your next vacation with your friends or family!
A week ago, my work colleagues and I toured Egypt! It's worth to visit the Egyptian Museum because the things that are in there you won't be able to see in other countries, places. Oh, you don't have to miss the opportunity to see the Sphinx-Pyramids! It was great! They way ancient egyptians constructed is just AMAZING!
We have been to many restaurants with my friends... but you should really try to eat the falafel. Falafel- is the Middle Eastern dish of spiced mashed chickpeas or other pulses formed into balls or fritters and deep-fried, usually eaten with or in pitta bread. It tastes soo good... i took some for my family! :)
If you are vising Egypt you probably have to go on a camel ride. We went to this park next to a mall and there people could have a ride for just 2.5! It was the first time I rode a camel...
If you are Gourman you should also see the Bazaar "KHAN-AL-KHALILI". It's a major souk in the historic center of Islamic Cairo. The bazaar district is one of Cairo's main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike. The skinny lanes of Khan Al Khalili are basically a medieval-style mall. This agglomeration of shops many arranged around small courtyards stocks everything from soap powder to semiprecious stones, not to mention tacky toy camels and alabaster pyramids. Most shops and stalls open from around 9am to well after sundown (except Friday morning and Sunday), although plenty of the souvenir vendors are open as long as there are customers, even on Sunday.
We were totally floored on seeing such wonderful places. We took lots of photographs here and it is one of my best vacations!
Love you!
Kate
