Wales is a part of Britain. Wales is a country with it's own geography culture, tradition and language. Welsh speak english but it's spoken widely, especially in the north of the country and it is still the first language for many people. By the way English is taught syde by side with Welsh in schools. Welsh is different from English. Welsh is one of the Celtic languages like Scottish and Irish Gaelic. Even if your English is fluent you won't be able to understand Welsh. Wales is agricultural, there are a few small and important cities there. Wales have one big city, it called Cardiff, the capital and the main port.
