Некие предложения дозволяют наличие разных вариантов. В 8-м может быть перфектный инфинитив: We are happy to have been invited to the party. (если речь идёт о какой-то прошлой вечеринке, а не той, которая предстоит и приглашение на которую объясняют).

В 3-м могут быть реально 3 варианта: This plant is known to produce tractors. Этот завод, как знаменито, производит тракторы (вообщем, непрерывно).This plant is known to be producing tractors. (Знаменито, что этот завод на данный момент (временно) производит тракторы.)This plant is known to have produced tractors. (Известно, что этот завод когда-то создавал тракторы.)
