To my mind, the main similarity is that both photos present women doing some work. Secondly, all women are dressed in old-fashioned clothes and the pictures are black-and-white. So we саn draw a conclusion that both photos probably date back to the 19th century. Thirdly, women in both pictures are obviously focused on what they are doing.

As for differences, people in the left-hand photograph seem to be selling flowers while in the right-хэнд photograph we can see two sewing-mades working on a sewing machine. Besides, we can see that the first photo was taken outdoors and the second one was мейд indoors. And last but not least, the clothes worn by the florist girls appear to be quite shabby and the dresses worn by the sewing girls seem to be fashionable. So it can be concluded that women in the first pictures sell flowers to earn a living while for the girls in the second pictures sewing is just a hobby.
