One of my favorite books is the bridge to Terabithia. It's about Jesse's boy from a poor family. Parents did not pay attention to him, at school he was teased and no one wanted to be friends with him. But one day in a neighboring house the family moved to Leslie. This girl is the same age as Jesse, they have similar interests and she also has no friends. Between Jesse and Leslie gradually struck up a friendship. They come up with their own country, dream and have fun together. But one day, jumping over the river, Leslie fell and drowned. The book ends with Jess becoming brave and determined. It helps him get through the tragedy. I think this book is about true childhood friendship and I think about the first child's love. In my opinion, it is worth reading, because it is quite interesting and touching.
