Написал. Правда не знаю, что Вы будете делать если проподаватель попросит перевод..

Выше письмо в согласовании с условием начинается со слов данных в желтоватой рамочке : I was excited....the airport.

Письмо написал природно "от руки". Но повторюсь, Ваш учитель сразу увидит, что писал далековато не школьник. Если что, я работаю и под заказ, но не здесь и не на таких критериях.

           I was waiting for my penpal friend Susan who had to fly to my city from London. She has to arrive on my invitation, so you can imagine it was the event of special importance to me.

            Being a little nervous I walked around the waiting area with the nameplate hanging from my chest saying : "Susan from London".  Probably it sounded a bit funny but nothing except this phrase came to my mind.  

            In a minute or so, I saw her walking down to the place where I stood. I immediately noticed that she was upset and even quite a bit  frightened as it seemed to me at that time. I rushed towards her and asked : "What happened?" I got really embarrassed because I knew my friend as a cheerful and easy-going individual. She looked at me, smiled in a strange way and replied : "It seems I have lost my luggage".

            It emerged lately, that the air company did not put her luggage into the plane. I remembered clearly what we then went through trying to explain to the airport service crew what  happened. She  spoke in English, I translated her speech into Russian, an airport clerk writing her story down...We laughed at these scenes the next day, but believe me - it wasnt so funny at that particular time.

          Susan listed all things she had in her suitcase : a sweater, a bunch of souvenirs, towels and books, it took her around two minutes to finish off. When we came to my flat she felt better probably because I treated her a tasty cake with tea. I coaxed her to go for a walk as I knew that walking is the best remedy in a situation like this. In about three hours we received a call from the air company clerk telling that my friends luggage has been found.  I noticed as Susan took a deep breath, waved with her хэнд and smiled, showing how relieved she felt.
