An average house for a middle class family will have 2 or 3 bathrooms, 3 or 4 bedrooms, a living room with sitting area, either a separate dining room or a kitchen with a dining area big enough for a table and 6 or 8 chairs, and often a den or family room where the TV is. The size would be from about 1600 sq feet to about 2,800 sq feet. The house would have central heat and air conditioning and a modern kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and garbage disposal. Most homes have 2 car garages. Homes for working class would be 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a great room for sitting and TV and a big modern kitchen with dining area. It would also have air conditioning and heating and a garage. Upper class homes are large 3,000 sq to 5,000 sq feet and above. Store owners, small business owners, doctors, lawyers, professional s of all sorts live in those homes. They can be very fancy and nice. Middle class and upper middle class homes often have pools, jacuzzis and other extras. Even working class Americans sometimes have above ground pools, a boat, or other extra nice things.
