Рассказ о семейном питомце

I have a cat. У меня есть кот.

His name is Tom. Его зовут Том.

Hes ten years old. Ему десять лет.

He is not very big, but he is fat a little. Он не очень великий, но немного толстый.

He has long white fur, short paws and little ears. У него длинноватая белая шерсть, краткие лапы и махонькие уши.

When he was young, I used to play with him a lot. Когда он был молодее, я нередко играл с ним.

But now he is not so active. Но сейчас он не таковой активный.

He prefers to lie on the sofa all day long. Он предпочитает лежать на диване весь денек.

But sometimes he likes to look at the birds through the window. Но иногда он любит глядеть в окно на птиц.

At the moments like these he imagines that he is a wild cat in the jungle, I think. Мне кажется, в такие минутки он представляет себя бешеной кошкой в тропических зарослях.

I love Tom very much and always take care of him. Я очень люблю Тома и всегда ухаживаю за ним.

Description

My favourite animal is my cat. His name is Graham. He has long fur and tail. He is white. Graham is too clever because he live in this world too much. He is nineteen years old! Fortunately, his age has no effect on his health. Since 2006, I see him rarely because now he is living with my grandmother in the village, not with me and my parents. A lot of good memories are associated with this cat. He always met my parents from job, ate with us, slept in front of my bed. Graham is not picky about food. He eat all what I bring:  

• healthy dry food;
• milk;
• cheese;
• water;
• fish;
• sour cream.

All the members of our family like Graham very much. He is funny, friendly, nice, playful and kind.

One sad story with Graham

Once, when my cat was 5 years old, we took him to the clinic to the vet. He always went down the balcony on his own, but on that day it was raining. He slipped and fell down. The recovery of the sick leg took about three months. Then I was 9 years old. I cried for 4 days and was afraid that Grahams leg will not heal.
