Donetsk is a city where I was born and have been living since my birthday. Its a very large and beautiful city. It covers an area of 358 square kilometres and is divided into nine administrative districts. There are many beautiful parks and streets, three theatres and a lot of cinema houses, large stadiums and спорт centres, museums and art galleries, many higher educational establishments, colleges and schools. Some years ago more than one million people lived there. But now the situation has greatly changed. Donetsk used to be a scientific, cultural and industrial centre with highly developed industrial brunches. But now almost all mines and industrial enterprises are closed or damaged. But most city-dwellers hope to see their native city as peaceful and wonderful as it used to be.
