In my opinion, books are still popular because they accompany three important aspects with them. First of all, books are the indicators of knowledge and wisdom, which is much appreciated in the elitist circles. Secondly, books are a valuable source of the information just like anything else and it is up to the person to decide whether he or she likes it this way. Finally, some people simply enjoy the process of reading the book, including the smell of the cover and the feeling they get when finishing it.
