Thanksgiving Day is a public holiday in the US, celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. The celebration meaning in itself is collecting harvest. The settlers came to America and their first autumn was wild and cold. After that autumn many settlers died and people with other Indians learned to grow corn and other crops. They collected good harvest and decided to thank God for that. The day called Thanksgiving Day and that day people eat traditional turkey and potatoes with whipped cream sauce .
