Id like to tell you about Khan Palace in the Crimea. It is situated in the first capital of the Crimea, the old wonderful town Bakhchisaray. Ive never seen such ancient things, which were used in the 18-th, 19-th centuries. As a museum, Khan Palace was opened 100 years ago, in 1917. There was a big amazing yard in the centre of the museum. There are different buildings, which formed the Khans rooms, study, mosque, etc. The most interesting, I guess, is harem building. Earlier it was secret territory for unknown people and foreigners. But nowadays we can see and know how Khans wives, sisters, daughters, concubines lived long ago. Museum really tells the history of different Crimean Khans, their lives and conquests. Its worth visiting, if you are interested in history and culture of the Crimea.
