1) These words mean that the British are fond of eating sweet food. "To have a sweet tooth" means to like everything that is sweet.

2) I know a lot of sweet things: chocolate and marmalade, jam and jelly, ice-cream and puddings, cakes and biscuits, and, of course, sweets, lollipops and jelly beans.

3) I like different sweet thing but my favourite is chocolate ice-cream.

4) The British usually eat cakes, biscuits and other sweet things in the afternoon with tea.
