Who was the creator of the television? It is quite difficult to answer this question, because many scientists of the world took part in its development.
The beginning of the first TV receivers was мейд by the German technician Paul Nipkov. In 1884, he invented a special disk which was able to scan images line by line. In 1895 the German physicist Carl Brown created the first kinescope, better known as the "Brown Tube".
In 1906, his student Max Dickmann received a patent for the kinescope and used the discovery of his teacher to transfer the picture. A year later, he showed the world a television receiver with a small screen - 3 by 3 centimeters. In the middle of 1920s, the British engineer John Lowy Brad contributed to the development of modern television. He invented a mechanical TV receiver that worked without sound, but gave a fairly clear picture. The basis of the first electronic receiver was мейд by the Russian physicist Boris Rosing. His work was continued by another Russian engineer Vladimir Zworykin. In 1923 he patented a unique invention television which was worked by electronic technology.
