The zebra diet is scarce in calories, which causes the animal to eat all day. Water also plays a very important role, as the zebra does not tolerate thirst and should drink at least once a day. The zebras live in herds, where the head is one male, next to which there are several females. The main feature of a zebra is that it sleeps while standing. To do this, all the individuals of the herd are lumped together in order to protect themselves from predators. The main enemy of the zebra is the African lion, who loves the meat of this animal and considers it a delicacy. Most often, the predator stalls its prey on the way to the watering or is looking for young individuals that have strayed from the herd. The animal has a special beauty and grace, which is not only fascinating, but also causes admiration. Unfortunately man, not only admires this individual, but also takes part in its extinction.
