Id like to tell you some interesting facts about Diplodocus. Today it is considered as the most huge dinosaur, its long neck was composed of 15 vertebraes. Diplodocus had a long neck and tail, eating leaves of the trees and moved on four legs. They had herd lifestyle, in food consumed young shoots, cones, leaves of the trees and needles, also used seafood (shellfish, small squid, algae). Diplodocus mostly lived in the swamp and were excellent swimmers. Land was used for laying eggs and eating. The balls were not big. We can compare them as basketball balls. Diplodocus died in late Jurassic period. The researchers put forward several reasons for the disappearance of these species: the emergence of new predators, the climate change in the dinosaur habitat. Because they ate a lot of greenery and new shoots, food was much less and in the end they died. These facts tell us some amazing information about animals which we cant see nowadays in the zoos, but can know about them as the part of our historical and nature development.
