Where have been three capitals in. Russia.Say what you know about each of them
Задать свой вопросThe three capitals of Russia are Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan. Moscow is the official capital of the Russian Federation. It has been the capital since 1389. This is a large metropolis that plays the role of not only the capital, but also the business, cultural, economic, political, and tourist center of the country. St. Petersburg was the Russian capital in the period from 1712 to 1918. It was created precisely as a capital city. The city was the center of three revolutions. The First World War greatly affected the economic condition of the city and it was decided to move the capital again to Moscow. But so far St. Petersburg remains the second most important city in Russia. Kazan is considered the third capital. This fact is officially registered. Kazan is the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. It, as Moscow, has its own Kremlin.
