A terrible noise was coming from the ground. The earth was moving  like a sea. The ground was moving under his feet. He ran and heard screams for him. When he saw that a mountain seemed to fly to him, he swam in the river. Later he realized that the earthquake broke down a large piece of the mountain.

Из земли исходил страшный шум. Земля двигалась как море. Земля под ногами двигалась. Он побежал и услышал вопли для него. Когда он увидел, что гора, казалось, летит к нему, он плавал в реке. Позднее он сообразил, что землетрясение сломало великую часть горы.
