Adjectives have three degrees of comparison. They are Positive, Comparative and Superlative. We form Comparative and Superlative of the adjective that have one or two syllables with the suffixes er and est. When adjectives have more syllables we form their Comparative and Superlative with the help of more and the most. We use definite article (the) with Superlative.
