Fyodor Dostoyevsky, a famous Russian writer, was born in November, 11 in 1821 in Moscow. His well-known novels are 'Crime and Punishment', 'The Brothers Karamazov'. Dostoyevsky entered the Army Engineering College in 1837. In 1844 he decided to resigned from army and started writing seriously. In 1847 he was writing for the Saint Petersburg's 'Gazette'. In 1857 Dostoyevsky married Mariya Dmitriyevna Isayeva. He became an editor of a 'Vremya' in 1860. In two years he travelled abroad for the first time. He visited London. In 1865 the writer was heavily in debt, he left Russia and wrote 'Crime and Punishment'. In 1867 he married Anna Grigoryevna Snitkina. In a year they moved to Italy, 'The Idiot' was published. In 1871 Dostoyevsky returned to Russia. In 1879 'The Brothers Karamazov' was published for the first time. In 1881 he died in Saint Petersburg.
