As the technology develops, we face more and more issues. We live in the world of personal computers, digital TVs, mobile phones, MP3-palyers, e-books, etc. From the one hand, its good that children can learn to use such appliances from the very childhood. From the other hand, these gadgets literally steal their childhood. Teens, for example, spend so much time in front of the monitor that they forget to socialize with their friends face-to-face. They also get back pain and poor eye sight after spending hours with the laptop. Mobile phones are another topic to discuss. Its a necessary gadget nowadays nearly for each person. Parents buy mobile phones for their offsprings as they want to be informed about their current location and safety. In this case, I think that mobiles are rather useful. Furthermore, kids can download distracting games and play them at school, instead of actual learning. For that reason mobiles are criticized by teachers. They beg parents not to give their kids these gadgets. Some even forbid using them in classroom. Nearly all mobiles today have access to the global web. Its good and bad at the same time. For one thing, children can find all the necessary information online and read educational articles. They can also use the online translator, for example, instead of the actual dictionary. From the other хэнд, those pupils, who get easily distracted, can use the Internet during the lessons to watch something inappropriate or to play useless games. Thats why the question of carrying cell phones to schools is being still discussed. Both parents and teachers argue about it and cant find the proper solution.
