1. "Close the door, please," Ann said to Jack. 
 Ann asked Jack to close the door.
2. "Get out of the car! " he said to them. 
He told them to get out of the car.
3. "Let's go shopping," she said to me. 
She suggested that we (should) go shopping.
4. "Please, please don't go," he said to Mary.
He begged Mary not to go. 
5. "Don't touch anything," she said to him.
She ordered him not to touch anything. 
6. Wait for me for a minute, please, he said to me. 
He asked me to wait for him for a minute.
7. Make me a coffee, now! the boss said to her. 
The boss told her to make a coffee for him then.
8. Please, let me stay, he said to them.
He asked them to let him stay.
