Winter months are December, January, and February.  Winter is the coldest season of the  year. The days are short and the nights are long in winter. Cold winds blow in winter. People put on warm clothes. It often snows and the ground is white with snow. Children like to ski and skate in winter.

Spring months are March, April and May. In spring the weather is warm and sunny. The sky is blue. Days grow longer. The trees are green and flowers begin to grow. Birds return from warm countries and build their nests.

Summer months are June, July and August. Summer comes after spring. It is the hottest season of the year. People put on light clothes.The days are long in summer and the nights are short.  Summer is fun for children. No school. They play games outdoors and swim in the river or in the lake or go to the country.

Autumn comes after summer. Autumn months are September, October and November. The sky is grey. The weather is cool. It often rains in autumn. People carry umbrellas with them. Schooll begins. It is nice in the forest in autumn. The leaves fall from the trees. They are red, orange, yellow and brown. Nature is beautiful in autumn. There is plenty of fruit in autumn.

Spring is green,
Summer is bright.
Autumn is yellow,
Winter is white.

Winter brings us snowflakes,         Зима приходит к нам со снегом
Spring - green buds and shoots.    Весна - с зелёною листвой.
Summer brings us berries,             Лето дарует ягоды,
Autumn - golden fruit.                     Осень - сладостные плоды.

Spring is my favorite season (весна мой возлюбленный сезон)
My friend and l love to go for a walk and swim in summer (мои друзья и я любим гулять летом и купаться)
Autumn is a very beatiful season.(осень очень красивое время года.)
