Almost everyone likes to travel. Some people like travelling by air. As for me, Im afraid of this way of journey. But I want to try it in my future life.

Some people like the sea. You can feel the deck of the boat under your feet, the cry of sea-gulls and of course to feel the fresh sea wind. Once I had a cruise by boat. I liked it because it was very amusing and thrilling. We were lucky that the weather was fine and the water wasnt rough.

I know many people who prefer travelling on foot or hitch-hiking. So do I. You leave the dull broad highway and go along a narrow road where cars cant go. You see all the beauty of country, a lot of animals living in the forests, many young birds in their nests, the wild flowers and a lot of original and unique scenery and people.

For some people there is nothing like travel by train. Travelling by train we can have comfort, speed and many other things combined. Some of us like to have a meal in the dining-car, a wonderful bed.

Recently weve visited S. Petersburg. We had a splendid view of the whole countryside. We saw many small villages and big cities during the journey. It took us 24 hours to reach the city. During our trip we went sightseeing in the city, visited the Concert Hall. We lived in the hotel on the fourth floor. Our hotel was very nice and cosy. We took part in the scientific conference.

We мейд friends with a lot of young people, especially with the foreigners. Some of us were impressed by the people reading books, newspapers and magazines in the underground. At first it was sad that the weather was awful and changeable. In spite of it we had a good time.Well remember this trip for a long time. In conclusion, I can say if I have a chance to go there, Ill visit this city with pleasure.
