Internet is the greatest time-waster

  In the 21st century, the most popular form of entertainment is the Internet. The WorldWideWeb has surpassed it's greatest competitors, the television and radio, in a short span of less than 30 years. In fact, people use the internet so much, that one can say that we are addicted to it. Unlike television or a radio podcast, the internet can make a person lose track of time. One of the most asked questions today: "Could internet be the greatest time waster?". Let's look into this problem.

  Although there is a huge difference between internet and television, these forms of entertainment are always compared to each other. The TV can have you sitting hours on your sofa and watching cartoons, films, news, documentaries but you will get bored of watching it at some point. On the other side, we have the internet. Not only people can watch videos on different themes, they can express their thoughts, have debates, find people that have the same interests as them etc. This is important because people couldn't have done this before. When

a person gets bored of reading news, he or she can go and watch some videos of any genre!
