Nick:
It was the day of the surfing competition, it was hot and sunny. The wave were very big but Im a strong swimmer and my new board is good. I sat on it in the water and wailed. A big wave arrived and I stalled to swim strongly. I caught the wave well and stood up on my board. Suddenly I heard a noise. I felt pain in my right arm. I fell from my board. A second big wave hit me and I saw Brians board coming at me. My head went under the water. The water was in my mouth. My arm was hurt. I started to swim but it was not easy. I sat down on my board and moved slowly towards the beach. I was tired and it was difficult to move my right arm. When I arrived I put my board under my left arm. I could hardly walk.
People looked at me. Some of them started to talk to me, but I didnt want to talk. I sat on the beach and looked at the waves. Janelle walked across the beach to me. We had a talk. She said that it wasnt an accident. She saw Brian cut across me. Whatever. I lost the competition. Brian has won now I can forgive about my plans to go to Australia before college.

I saw Nick on his board. The wave was good and he caught it well. But suddenly he fell down. Actually I saw Brian cut across him. That was terrible. Nick came out of the water, he was tired and didnt want to talk. I came up to him and said that I saw everything. It was Brians fault. Nick said that it didnt matter because he failed and now he should forget about his plans to go to Australia before college.
