The Great Patriotic War as we call it in Russia began with Germany invading the sovereign territory of the Soviet Union on 22nd of June of the year 1941. It brought major changes in the way we see the modern world and has left millions of families homeless and deceased. Nowadays, we have to remember the brave actions of the Soviet soldiers who defended their land with the maximum level of courage. It is through these actions that humans truly begin to understand the importance of friendship and family.
