1.writing your letterJim is young person from Britain who is coming to Russia to do a course in Russian. He is staying with you and has a few days free before his course begins. He has written to you asking for advice about a good place to visit. You are going to write a reply.

Dear Jim,
I was so glad to get a letter from you and to know news about your visit to Russia. My flat is not so big but very comfortable. I think you will be glad of staying with my family. You ask about different places which you can visit before your course will start. As I live in one of the biggest cities in the Russian Federation, Moscow, you have an opportunity to visit a lot of interesting sights. Im sure youll be impressed by the Moscow Kremlin, Red Square, Lenin Avenue, etc. Also you can visit Moscow University. Its one of the magnificent buildings which is situated on the Vorobyev Hills. Youll enjoy a most beautiful view of the whole city from there. Well, I cant wait for your coming. Ill be so glad to show you Russia as one of the biggest and greatest countries in the world.
