Winter in Russia can be various in different regions. It can be cold and warm in the same time. For example, in Sochi, winter is rather mild. It snows rarely, the temperature is not so high as in Moscow or St. Petersburg, for instance. These regions are colder. As for Kazan or Yakutia, they can be very cold in winter and rather cool in warm season. There is much snow and frost in these regions. Sometimes, children dont go to schools in bitter cold weather. Winter in the Crimea is very changeable. It is usually warm, but sometimes can be very cold and snowy. It often rains in the Crimea in winter. So we can say, that Russian winter is not steady as for many regions and different climate in them.
