Are is used in present tenses with plural.

My parents are doctors.

My parents are driving to London now.   

Will is used in future tense.

My sister will read this book.

Were is the second form of the verb to be. It is used with plural.

There were many trees in this park.

The girls were singing.

Has is used with the third person singular in present tenses.

Ton has got a red pen.

Is is used in present tense with the third person singular.

He is washing the dishes.

The pen is red.

Am is used in present tense with the first person singular.

I am reading an interesting story now.
