The first image of the lunar surface appeared to the eyes of earthlings in 1966, when the Soviet station "Luna-9", having completed the worlds first soft landing on the moon, transmitted a television panorama of the area. On these images, taken from a height of about 1 m, details of up to 1 mm in size were visible. But still the greatest achievement was the landing of a man on the moon. In 1969, Neil Amstrong set foot on its surface, thereby changing the worldview of many scientists forever, as he proved that it was possible. So, over time, it will be possible to visit other planets.
