In English, words must be arranged in a sentence in the definite order: 1) subject, 2) predicate, 3) object, 4) modifier. Due to this order it is clear about whom or what the sentence is and upon whom or what the subject of the sentence acts. Changing the order of words can alter the entire meaning of the sentence.
