Theater can rightly be considered one of the oldest bastions of human culture. In one form or another, it managed to take its place in the cultural tradition of every nation of the world, regardless of racial, religious, ethnic or other affiliations. The role of theater in the life of a person and society differed depending on the epoch and the goal pursued by theatrical figures. For example, in ancient Greece, the theaters task was the spiritual development and moral purification of the audience through empathy to the heroes, as well as a reflection of the most important historical events. The main function of the theater is entertaining, all the rest could exist only in the entertainment key. From this it follows that the theater since ancient times has satisfied the natural human need for spectacles. The second most important role of theater in a persons life is development. Theatrical practice is a popular way of self-development, as well as a useful active leisure and just a pleasant pastime. The significance of theater in the life of modern man began to decline significantly as a result of the emergence of the art of cinema and, especially, the improvement of the technology of shooting and showing films. This led to the loss by the theater of the role of the main supplier of "spectacles" to the masses and a significant decrease of interest in it. Of all types of art, cinema occupies a unique place in the modern world, and accordingly in human life. Cinema is a whole social institution. It affects the life of society, forming the consciousness of the viewer. In return, the society demands new achievements from cinematography: improvement of technical methods and creativity of ideas. Thus, there is a constant connection between society and the world of cinema. And this connection is capable of transmitting our feelings, habits, customs and traditions, even immersing a person into the world of his illusions. Moreover, it can be said that the film industry is capable of covering almost all spheres of public consciousness. Cinema enables a person to perceive life a little bit from a different angle than he perceived it before.
