Нужен текст на англ про русские копейки
Задать свой вопросThe Russian copecks have rather long and interesting history. They changed many times and had different view. At different times in Russia there were monetary units of smaller denomination than one penny. It was "polupolushka" (1/8 penny) or "mite" (a quarter penny). One penny had two parts of "money". By the way, it is the monetary unit "money" which gave rise to the modern word "money". Soviet pennies differed by curious feature: one penny weighed one gram, two pennies two grams and so on. Towards the end of the XX century for one penny in the USSR a glass of sparkling water or box of matches could be bought. Nowadays we have no such opportunity. All the smallest coins in circulation in Russia were issued before 2010. Today we usually use coins with nominal value of one, two, five and ten roubles. Most people think its cosy. But some of them guess they have no any need. But they are also important, for example, in change. As for me I use copecks rather often.
