Television is really popular nowadays. But earlier, about 30 years ago it was wonder for many families. In Soviet Union not all family could enable itself at least small TV-set. Sometimes people went to neighbours in order to watch news or any serial. They were really popular that time. Today there are so many kinds of TV-sets in the shops and special department stores. They have different functions and conditions, for example with the internet, games, big screens and wonderful sound. Television is liked by children most of all. But of course, adults and old people also enjoy watching TV in the evening mostly. It can help them to relax after hard working day. Turning on the TV-set, people wait for some news, interesting program, film, etc. But of course, it can hurt you too, especially your eyes. If you watch TV too much, you can have problems with your eyesight and health. So people should be attentive to this point. I like watching TV, but not often. Usually I watch news and some childrens program.
