Correct the sentences 1)My town is more clean than New York.

1) My town is cleaner than New York.

2) We have never been to London.

3) Many animals live in our forests.

In the first sentence the mistake is more clean. Adjectives that have one or two syllables form their comparative degree with the help of the suffixe er. (cleaner). More is used in the formation of comparative degree when adjectives have more syllables.

In the third sentence the mistake is much animals. Animal is a countable noun and we dont use much with countable nouns. Much is used with uncountable nouns. With countable nouns we use many.
