When you go to somebody's house in Poland, it is a good custom to never be late. If you happen to be late, call your host to tell them about it and apologise for it. You should also bring a small gift with you. A bunch of flowers or a small box of chocolates is enough. When you have your dinner, don't belch at the table. Always try to finish your meal and eat using a knife and a fork, not with your fingers. Keep your elbows off the table and sit up straight.
