The Snow Maiden
Once upon a time after a heavy snowfall a little boy and girl were playing in the garden. They were brother and sister.
The children chased each other, threw snowballs and played hude and seek.
For more fun they мейд a snow doll. It looked just like a real girl. The children gave the doll a kiss and she came to life.The Snow Maiden moved, smiled at the children and started to play with them. 
Some time later, the childrens fatrher retumed from town. He took the Snow Maiden for the neighbors daughter. He took pity on her because she looked cold. So he led the girl into the house to warm her up. The Snow Maiden began to melt until nothing was left of her except a puddle on the floor.
