They say that it is good to have strict parents. On the one хэнд it is true. Usually strict parents teach their children how to be disciplined, conscientious and hard-working. Such children are more ready for grown-up life than others. At the same time parents who are too kind to their children can do them harm in that case. Such parents are usually ready to gratify any of their childrens whims and wishes. Thats why they become naughty and capricious. They are accustomed to the fact that everything is ready for them and their parents will always be at hand. And it is horrible that sometimes such children depend on their parents for the whole life. On the other хэнд when parents are way too strict they can hurt their children mentally too. I think it is bad when parents are always giving their children a piece of their unpleasant mind and giving them no peace. It is not pedagogically right in fact. Upbringing should combine both strictness and kindness, to my mind. Good parents should be both demanding and considerate at the same time. I hope that in future more and more people will stick to that golden mean.
