In my opinion, it is generally better to have a small flat in the city center rather than the big one far away from it. I think so because of the two following reasons. First of all, the price range of the property in the city center is always higher, which increases the chances of the successful re-sell of the apartment in the future. Secondly, it is more convenient for traveling to the various parts of the city, thus reducing the need to spend money and time on the public transportation. This is why I think so.
