Mikhail Lermontov is one of the most prominent and famous poets of Russia. But he was also a great playwright and artists. Although Lermontov lived a very short life, but he created as many masterpieces as a few can create in a hundred years. He was born in Moscow, but he spent all his childhood on the estate of Grandma Tarkhany. Glory to the poet came during his lifetime, after writing the "Death of a Poet." This was followed by the first arrest and disfavor of the authorities. He was exiled to the Caucasus. The first link was not long. but the Caucasus is forever sunk into the soul of the young poet. In this link, he wrote "Mtsyri" and "Demon" - his two great works. After a duel with the son of the French ambassador, he was again exiled to the Caucasus.
