 English has got two voices. They are Active Voice and Passive Voice. The subject in Active Voice is the doer of the action. The subject in Passive Voice takes the action. Passive voice is formed with the help of the auxiliary verb to be and with the help of the third form of verb.

Present Indefinite is / am / are + the third form of verb.

Past Indefinite was / were + the third form of verb.
