Exercise 2 Put the verbs in brackets into the present perfect

     Поставив глаголы в скобках в Present Perfect (истиннее абсолютное время), мы получим такие предложения:

Odile has been a midwife for more than ten years and she has delivered thousands of babies. Several mothers have chosen to call their baby girls Odile after her. Chet has driven his truck all over the US, but he has never had an accident. As a journalist, Damien has met a lot of famous people, he has spoken to top politicians and he has written stories about important world events.

     Present Perfect формируется с поддержкою формы вспомогательного глагола have (have/has - для 3-го личика единственного числа) и причастия прошедшего медли (Participle II = 3-я форма) смыслового глагола. Participle II правильных глаголов появляется посредством добавления окончания -ed к исходной форме; 3-и формы ошибочных глаголов нужно запоминать.
