My favourite book is Humble girl. The author of it is Aksel Bakunts, an Armenian prose writer, film-writer, translator and public activist.

  This is a sad love story, which also describes the  pain of unsuccessful human relationships and the demolishment of happiness. The story begins with the dialogue of two friends, one of which used to be a teacher in village about 12 years ago. They ride through the village and it evoked his memories about his love to Xonarh, one of his pupils, who never opened her inner world. What they had was only the spiritual connection between them- without any words, any conversation. She escaped everytime, he wanted to speak to her. During the holidays he had to leave the village. After 12 years, he saw her again, with her 3 children. She was a widow. Her eyes were the same, but unhappy.
